PDFs with selectable text are read directly.
Scans, photos and PDFs without usable text are read with text recognition, which can misread characters, so they are always marked for a quick check. The reader downloads once (about 10–20 MB).
Files are read on this computer and are not uploaded anywhere.
Anything that could not be read with certainty is listed on the document as a check, and the totals always match the original.
Imported documents keep their original numbers and are marked Imported until you set their status.
